We all deserve true, genuine and long-lasting happiness. We all have the ability to create a happy life and we all deserve it. Our life is specially meant for self-realization. That is to say, man should come to know what he is and wat the world is! This way the quality of life will elevate.

Today, improving the quality of life becomes essential to lead a perfect life. Towards the beginning of 21st century, there has been an increasing trend of moral degradation, stress and the lack of social harmony to a very large extent. Therefore, it is worthwhile to seek valuable tips and increase our quality of life. Here is the list of 13 tips we should perform in our everyday life.

1. Have Faith in God: Remember and have faith in God. By revering to HIM, you will attain that eternal and lasting happiness. You will always feel your life secure and complete. When you have faith in God, not only you have a greater momentum towards your goal, but some amazing transformations in your daily life or career often happen. This is why faith is greatly encouraged. It will also streamline your life and  relieve of many inner conflicts. Due to your faith, inner power from your higher consciousness will dynamically move out into your life and world as a constructive force. More opportunities will come to you. Often what you conceive in your mind can become a real experience for you in the outer world.

2. Handshaking Habit: A handshake is common when you greet people. Offer your right hand with a warm smile and direct eye contact. Your greeting will perfectly add to the meeting. Do not attempt to hold hands till your introduction is over. A good handshake lasts for only 3 to 4 seconds.

3. Punctuality: Always arrive on time. Don’t let people to wait for you. Attend at least few minutes before meeting begins. This will avoid distractions and provides time to get settled in the meeting. Getting embarrassed in such high profile venue will have negative impacts in your career. Such things will let your moral down.

4. Forgiving Yourself: Forgiving yourself and others for what you perceive to be not okay. Forgiving yourself is necessary. There is a tendency in all of us to hold ourselves more accountable than we do others.Forgiving yourself will change the direction of your life. Life is full of choices and every choice you make will either take you in a positive, life-giving direction. Forgiveness is a choice that takes courage and strength, and it gives you the opportunity to become an overcomer rather than remaining a victim of your own scorn.

5. Accepting Mistake: Accepting that you are okay even when you blunder and learning from past mistakes will surely make you improve in your life. Don’t worry about making mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes. Why should you be different. The person who never made a mistake, never made anything. Look upon your mistakes as an asset. Life is a learning process. Learn from your mistakes. Profit from them and you will not only gain more knowledge, you will also become a better person. You must face the fact that from time to time make the odd mistake. As long as they are not life threatening, pick yourself up, dust yourself down and get on with your life. However, just remember not make the same mistake twice.

6. Ladies First: Courtesy like “ladies first” greatly adds to your personality. The 30 second practice of wait and holding doors open for women will make you popular among the ladies. Cheers!

7. Laughter Challenge: Laughter is a sign of happiness or amusement. Find time to relax with friends or family members. Laughing for 30 second lowers blood pressure, reduces stress hormones, increases muscle flexing and boosts immune function. Laughter also triggers release of endorphins, the body’s natural painkillers and produces the general sense of well-being. Laugh makes life live.

8. No Smoking: When you are in a group, the non-smokers may not appreciate you lighting up in their faces. Try to step away from the groups. This will hardly take 30 seconds to establish some distance between non-smokers and you.

9. Shopping Tips: When you are shopping at the Malls or supermarkets, all you have to do is to greet the sales people with a ’smile’, then interact with them gently. This will create a satisfying shopping experience for yourself and other valued customers. Never lose your temper at elderly people, disabled people, or children. When dealing with them, maintain the utmost respect and exercise a great deal of patience. Don’t forget to add the words “Thank you” when you are through checking out.

10. Airline Tips: Inside the flights, you should be conscious enough to maintain polite and discipline. Using a laptop or playing noisy games is annoying to other passengers. They should not be disturbed. When exiting from the plane, wait for your turn. Don’t rush and push from the back to get a few passengers ahead. Maintain to go sear-by-seat and row-by-row. This will avoid any quarrels or hazards of accident.

11. Be a Good Listener: Listen carefully and attentively. Remain eye to eye contact with the speaker. Clarify your doubts and wait for other person to finish speaking. You will concentrate definitely from such practices. When someone shares information with you, put yourself in his shoes. This will allow the two of you to discover solutions more easily and will also help you appreciate a perspective different from your own.

12. Voluntary Activities: Indulge in volunteer activities that feed your soul and make you come alive, even if it makes little sense to others. This way, there will be room for developing you in new direction of your choice. Learn more about yourself during such gatherings. You will encourage you to learn new things in life.

13. Think Positively: Don’t ever think negatively. Negative thoughts will make you unhappy and failure in life. See the bright side of every new venture. A positive mind always anticipates hapiness, joy, health and a successful outcome of every situation and action. "Think Positive" - this is the only success formula for today’s stressful world. For developing such positive thoughts, keep your mind focused on important things. Set goals and priorities for what you think and do. First visualize practicing your actions and developing a strategy for dealing with  problems. Lastly, learn to relax and enjoy the success of  a complete happy life.
